[01] KKE leader denounces mainstream parties
Communist Party of Greece (KKE) secretary general Aleka Papariga called
on her party's supporters to cast blank or invalid votes on the second
Sunday of local elections, or to abstain. Local elections will be held
in the country on October 15 and 22.
Speaking in an interview with the newspaper "To Vima", Papariga said
that in no way should they vote for candidates of the New Democracy and
PASOK parties.
The KKE leader denounced both of these mainstream parties, as well as
the Coalition of the Left, Movements and Ecology (Synaspismos) party
for their policy in the local administration sector.
