Fair weather brings bathers to Athens' beaches
Bathers made their first en masse appearance along coastal Athens'
southeastern beaches on Orthodox Palm Sunday to take advantage of the
first sustained warm weather of the year. Easter will be celebrated in
the predominately Orthodox Christian nation next Sunday, a week after
Easter was celebrated by the Catholic and Protestant churches.
