[01] Imports, exports up in June
Exports-Dispatches rose by 7.3% in January-June 2005 in comparison with
the same period a year earlier to total 6,383.9 million euros, the
National Statistics Service of Greece (NSSG) said in provisional data
on Friday.
Imports-Arrivals showed a 0.7% rise to 20,348.9 million euros versus
January-June 2004, the NSSG said in a routine statement.
The trade deficit narrowed by 2.1%, totalling 13,965.0 million euros,
the statement added.
The figures do not include transactions in services.
