[01] 6th Greek-Turkish Tourism Forum on June 29-30The 6th Greek-Turkish Forum on Tourism will be held in the Greek island of Samos and the Turkish port of Kusadasi, June 29-30, bringing together Tourism ministers from the two countries along with tourism and travel officials.The Forum's agenda includes progress on cooperation in tourism, presenting preparatory work for a second joint tourism commission council, examining ways to further expand bilateral cooperation and signing of a joint declaration on tourism. A meeting between travel representatives in Kusandasi, June 30, is expected to sign a cooperation protocol. [02] Greek-Egyptian transports cooperation memorandum signedGreece and Egypt on Tuesday signed a memorandum of cooperation in the transports sector, with provisions foreseeing, among others, the creation of sea routes between the east Mediterranean country and the North African state.The memorandum also cites cooperation in the rail and road sectors in order to link trans-European highways and rail lines. The memorandum was signed by Transport Minister Mihalis Liapis and Merchant Marine Minister Manolis Kefaloyiannis, on the Greek side, and by visiting Egyptian Transport Minister Essam Sharaf.
