[01] European cooperative banks meet in Greece
The European Association of Cooperative Banks held a general assembly
in Rhodes on Monday, hosted by the national trade group.
The association spans 4,500 banks, 60,000 branches, 130 million
customers and 700,000 employees, its president, E Pflimin said.
Representatives of Greece's national association welcomed the support
of the European umbrella group.
[02] Greek-Baltic chamber of commerce launched
The Greek-Baltic Chamber of Commerce and Industry was officially
launched on Monday.
Based in the northern port city of Thessaloniki, the chamber will seek
to spur trade, business and technological links between Greece and the
Baltic lands.
