[01] Alleged 17N proclamation sent to newspaper31/07/2002 11:39:51The notorious ''November 17'' terrorist group has apparently sent a proclamation to an Athens daily, printed ''with reservations'' by the newspaper in a second edition on Wednesday, in which the group allegedly admits that the authorities had struck a blow to the organisation's core but vowed to continue its activities. The daily ELEFTHEROTYPIA noted it was printing the 5-page proclamation ''with reservations as to its authenticity'', which ''objectively is difficult in being verified, even by the authorities''. The purported proclamation was sent to the newspaper early Wednesday, the day after the urban guerrilla group's alleged leader and 10 other members were jailed pending trial in the Korydallos prison facility near Piraeus.
