The Council of Hellenes Abroad (SAE) European Chapter began its
meetings on Saturday morning in Thessaloniki to draft its 2002 action
plan, focusing mainly on the support of Greek expatriates in Eastern
Europe and the education of Greek expatriates throughout the
continent.
They were to also focus on the contribution of Greek expatriates in the
organization and promotion of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games.

Sunny weather is forecast for most of the country on Sunday with the
exception of Crete, Cyclades, Dodecanese were light showers may occur
but will ease off during the day. Winds northerly, moderate to strong.
In the north, temperatures will range from 3C to 13C; in the Ionian and
on the rest of the mainland from 6C to 18C; and in the Aegean islands
from 11C to 16C. Sunny in Athens, with temperatures between 8C and 17C.
Same in Thessaloniki with temperatures from 6C to 13C.
