[01] Journalists' work stoppage Thursday - To all ANA subscribers

To all ANA subscribers,

The Athens Union of Journalists (ESIEA) has called a three-hour work stoppage for all journalists on Thursday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

As such, the stoppage, which includes ANA journalists, will prevent the despatch of news from the Athens News Agency, for the duration, and we ask for your understanding.

The ANA news services will be dispatched as normal before and after and the work stoppage.

[03] Weather Forecast: Rain, storms and snow on Tuesday

Snow will fall in many parts of the country on Tuesday with rain and storms also expected. The northern Ionian, Epirus and western mainlan Greece will be cloudy. The weather will gradually improve in the west and north, and the rest of the country overnight. Winds north-northeasterly, strong to very strong, turning gale force at sea and easing off overnight. In the north, temperatures will range from -12C to -2C; in the centre from -5C to 4C; and in the rest of the country from 0C to 8C. Snow expected in Athens, easing off during the day but remaining in the east and north of the city. Temperatures between 0C and 3C. Snow in Thessaloniki, gradully easing off, with temperatures from -6C to -3C.
