Olympiakos Piraeus beat Kalamata 1-0 at away in a match played for the
Greek national soccer division on Saturday and retained its lead at the
top of the table, 12 points ahead of second-placed Panathinaikos
Athens.
In other matches played over the weekend, Panathinaikos beat Iraklis
2-1 at home, PAOK Thessaloniki beat Xanthi 3-0 at home, Panachaiki
defeated PAS Yiannena 2-1 in a match played at home, AEK Athens
demolished Panionios Athens 5-1 at home and Paniliakos Pirgos whipped
Athinaikos Athens 3-0, while OFI Iraklion held Ethnikos Asteras Athens
to a 2-2 draw at home. Ionikos Athens and Aris Thessaloniki will play
on Monday, in Athens.
