Two passengers of a private plane that made an emergency sea landing
off the island of Crete have been picked up by rescue teams while a
search continued for one other passenger and the pilot who were still
missing, Coast Guard officials said Wednesday.
A twin-engine TB-9 plane carrying three passengers made an emergency
landing Tuesday evening two miles off of Dia islet in the bay of
Heraklion.
The accident occured as the aircraft was flying from the island of
Santorini to Heraklion, Crete.
