[01] Commission clears acquisition of Computerlinks by Barclays
The European Commission has granted clearance under the EU Merger
Regulation to the acquisition of sole control of Computerlinks AG of
Germany by CSS Computer Security Solutions Erwerbs GmbH (CSS) of Germany,
controlled by Barclays Private Equity of the UK. Barclays Private Equity
manages the private equity business of Barclays Bank plc, which provides
universal financial services to private and corporate clients.
Computerlinks is a wholesaler of information technology products in the
field of electronic security and related services. The operation was
examined under the simplified merger review procedure.

entreprise commune entre Energinet, E.ON Netz, Vattenfall Transmission,
Nord Pool et EEX destinée à gérer le transport transfrontalier
d'électricité
La Commission européenne a autorisé, en vertu du règlement CE sur les
concentrations, la création d'une entreprise commune, qui sera dénommée
European Market Coupling Company (EMCC), par trois gestionnaires de
réseaux de transport – à savoir Energinet.dk (Danemark), E.ON Netz GmbH
(Allemagne) et Vattenfall Europe Transmission GmbH (Allemagne) – et deux
bourses de l'énergie - Nord Pool Spot AS (Norvège) et European Energy
Exchange AG (EEX) (Allemagne). Après avoir examiné l'opération
envisagée, la Commission est parvenue à la conclusion qu'elle
n'entraverait pas de manière significative l'exercice d'une concurrence
effective dans l'Espace économique européen (EEE) ou une partie
substantielle de celui-ci.
