Il s'agit.du riz italien "Riso di Baraggia Biellese e Vercellese" (AOP), du piment espagnol "Pimentón de la Vera" (AOP) et du pain tchèque "Karlovarský suchar" (IGP). Les trois dénominations s'ajoutent à la liste d'environ 800 produits déjà protégés en vertu de la législation sur la protection des indications géographiques, des appellations d'origine et des spécialités traditionnelles. (‘Stork’, The Netherlands) by Candover Investments plc (‘Candover’, UK). Candover is a private global investment firm, an arranger and provider of private equity for large European buy-outs. Stork is an industrial group active in the following sectors: Stork Aerospace, Stork Food Systems, Stork Technical Services and Stork Prints. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.(Chapeau – Amelia Torres f.f. – Tel. 295.46.29 – Fax: 295.14.13) [05] Commission clears acquisition of AK&N by Sumitomo/Itochu/ToyoThe European Commission has granted clearance under the EU Merger Regulation to the acquisition of sole control of joint control of AK&N UK Ltd (‘AK&N’, UK) by Sumitomo Chemical Company (‘Sumitomo’, Japan), Itochu Corporation (‘Itochu’, Japan) and Toyo Ink Mfg. (‘Toyo’, Japan). Sumitomo is active in the production of chemicals. Itochu is a general trading company. Toyo is active in the sectors of printing inks and equipment, chemicals, resins. AK&N deals with the manufacture and marketing of thermoplastic compound materials.
