[01] Commission clears acquisition of QVC by Liberty Media
The European Commission has cleared the acquisition of sole control over
the US undertaking QVC, Inc., which provides “product focused TV programs”,
by the international media, entertainment, technology and communications
company Liberty Media Corporation (US). (The operation, notified on 22 July
2003, was notified examined under the simplified merger review procedure)
