[A] NEWS ITEMS[01] Denktash to receive ``Golden Grey Wolf Prize''According to KIBRIS (16.3.99) Turkish Cypriot leader Rauf Denktash will receive the ``Golden Grey World Prize'' awarded by the Suleymaniye Cultural Centre.KIBRIS further says that Denktash will be leaving the occupied area for Turkey today. In Istanbul Denktash will inaugurate a photographic exhibition, and will give a conference on the ``Latest situation in Cyprus''. Denktash will also attend a panel discussion in which retired Ambassador Elekdag, Prof. Soysal and Prof. Manisali will participate as well. He will also give a lecture at the War Academy. (MY) [02] ``World Peace Prayers'' members visit the occupied areaKIBRIS (16.3.99) reports that members of the Association of World Peace Prayers will be arriving in the occupied today.The Association was established in Japan following the nuclear attack in Hiroshima. The 20-member delegation will leave the occupied area tomorrow. (MY) [03] Former CMC equipment shipped to TurkeyAVRUPA (16.3.99) reports that the Gama meters at the CMC site in occupied Karavostasi which contain nuclear isotop have been shipped to Turkey´s Atomic Energy Agency (TEAA) in Istanbul. The Gama meters will be handed over to the TEAA´s Nuclear Research and Education Installations in Cekmece, Istanbul.AVRUPA says that the Gama meters will be used in Turkey for research and education purposes.
