KIBRIS says that the deputy chairman of the Polish Parliament told Denktash that some time ago he had visited Cyprus and wanted to cross into the occupied area but the Cyprus government's authorities did not allow him to do so. Influenced by what Denktash had told them, the Polish Parliamentarians expressed the view that for the Greek Cypriot side to sit around the negotiations table there should be international pressure exerted on it. KIBRIS further adds that Polish photographers promised Denktash to organize a photographic exhibition in major cities of Poland, where Denktash's pictures will be exhibited. KIBRIS adds that Denktash's views regarding the solution of the Cyprus problem are published in the major Polish newspapers. (MY) |
