[02] English import firm will not accept certificates issued from ports in the occupied area
According to KIBRIS (13.2.96) the English firm Simson's
Fisheries, which imported dairy products from the occupied area to
the UK for the last six years, notified the Turkish Cypriot firm
Polarfoods Ismail Beydola and Sons that it will no longer accept
accompanying documents/certificates issued from ports in the
occupied area. The paper says this constitutes a heavy blow to
the exports of dairy products from the occupied area to the UK.
