The Press and Information Office has published a new booklet entitled : "
Cyprus : On the way to EU membership"
This booklet aims at promoting Cyprus as a country which has every right to
become a full member of the European Union. The 75-page booklet covers in
brief the history of Cyprus, the political problem, Cyprus-EU relations and
other fields of Cyprus life, such as the economy, trade, agriculture,
education and health. It can be used by Members of the European Parliament,
EU officials, journalists and other people.
Another publication entitled : " The position of the EU on Cyprus :
References" was put into circulation by the PIO. This publication, which
contains significant EU decisions, resolutions and references to Cyprus, is
a useful source of information for researchers, analysts, journalists and
generally people who are interested in such documents.
