[01] Finance Minister of Latvia in Cyprus
Latvian Finance Minister, Mr Aigars Kalvitis, is on an official visit to
Cyprus since 31 October 2001, following an invitation by the Cypriot
Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Mr Nicos Rolandis.
During Mr Kalvitis' visit to the island, a review of the bilateral
relations will take place in the field of commerce and tourism and the
prospects for their development will be discussed.
The Latvian Minister will be received by the President of the Republic of
Cyprus, Mr Glafkos Clerides and he will be meeting with the Finance
Minister and with the President of Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and
Industry.
Mr Kalvitis will depart from the island on 5 November 2001.
