[01] Alvaro de Soto sets date for his visit to Cyprus
UN Special Adviser to Cyprus, Mr Alvaro de Soto, confirmed on 21 August
2001 his intention to visit the island between August 29 and September 5 in
preparation for the resumption of the UN-sponsored proximity talks in New
York.
Mr de Soto wrote a letter to President Clerides submitting the dates and a
provisional schedule of contacts, pending approval.
