Mr Rolandis also said that the Council of Ministers will soon decide on tourism's targeted growth rate as well as on measures to upgrade the tourism product, including measures aimed at spreading out the seasonability of tourism. [02] Imports and Exports decrease in January 1999Cyprus' total imports and exports marked a slight decrease in January 1999, according to a report released yesterday by the Department of Statistics and Research.The report indicates that imports totalled L 125,5 mn in January 1999 as compared with L156,5 mn in January 1998. The exports reached L32,1 mn while last year they totalled L53,9 mn. As a result of the above developments, the trade deficit accounted for L93, 3 mn compared to L102,6 mn of the same month last year. [03] Cyprus new High Commissioner to Singapore presents credentialsCyprus High Commissioner to India, Ms Rhea Giordamli presented yesterday her credentials to Singapore President Mr Ong Teng Cheong.
