[01] Austrian President welcomes Cyprus' decision over missiles
The Austrian President Dr Thomas Klestil, has welcomed the recent decision
to forgo the deployment of missiles in Cyprus.
He made the remark on Cyprus in his New Year's address to the diplomatic
corps in Vienna yesterday.
He added: "But it remains urgent in my view to make further steps to lessen
the tensions in the island and in the Aegean".
