[01] Cyprus takes steps over Turkish harassment
Tuesday's violations of Cyprus sovereign air space by Turkish warplanes
prove once more that Turkey adopts a provocative attitude, Government
Spokesman Christos Stylianides stated yesterday. He added that the
government takes steps over the incident which occurred on the first day of
the annual joint military exercises between Greece and Cyprus under the
name "Nikiforos 98" Mr. Stylianides said that despite the Turkish
provocations, the Nikiforos exercises would continue as planned.
