[01] Cypriot MP elected Vice-President of IPU Committee

Cypriot MP Skevi Koukouma-Koutra has been elected Vice-President of the Inter-parliamentary Union (IPU) Standing Committee on Democracy and Human Rights.

According to a press release, issued by the Cyprus House, Koukouma was elected on Tuesday, in the framework of the 135th IPU Assembly after a vote among the members of the Bureau.

The Assembly wraps up on October 27.
