[01] Senior officials of Cypriot and Greek Foreign Ministries hold political consultations

Senior Foreign Ministry officials from Cyprus and Greece held political consultations in Athens on Friday.

According to an official press release, Permanent Secretary of Cyprus` Foreign Ministry Alexandros Zenon and Greek Foreign Ministry`s Secretary General Dimitrios Paraskevopoulos held political consultations in the framework of the regular dialogue between Nicosia and Athens aiming at their coordination and at briefing each other.

Zenon briefed Paraskevopoulos on the latest developments in negotiations aiming to solve the Cyprus problem, while Paraskevopoulos briefed Zenon about the current situation in greco-turkish relations.
