[01] Commissioner Stylianides meets with President of Cyprus Parliament and Foreign Affairs Committee

Issues of common interest relating to the current challenges facing the European Union have been discussed at a meeting held on Thursday between the President of the House of Representatives Demetris Syllouris and European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid & Crisis Management Christos Stylianides.

At the meeting, both sides expressed the desire for increased contacts and cooperation and stressed the importance of cooperation between EU and national parliaments.

Stylianides paritcipated also in a session of the parliamentary Committee on Foreign and European Affairs.
