[01] President Anastasiades is ready to visit Moscow, says Spokesman
President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades is fully ready to visit the
Russian capital, once this becomes possible, Government Spokesman Christos
Stylianides has said. He also refuted reports that President Anastasiades
has refused President Vladimir Putin's invitation to visit Russia.
In a statement, Stylianides underlined that "regarding reports and
statements which note that President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades
has rejected an open invitation by Russian President Vladimir Putin to
visit Russia, I want to clarify that such thing does not exist nor it
was and is possible for the President of the Republic to refuse such
an invitation".
