[01] Cypriot MP appointed PACE General Rapporteur on Children
Head of the Cyprus delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council
of Europe (PACE), Stella Kyriakidou, will undertake the post of General
Rapporteur on Children effective April 2013.
According to a press release, her duties include intervening in the
field of rights, protection and development of children and promoting
the participation of these children in the social framework they belong.
Kyriakidou will be responsible to prepare reports, memoranda and inform
the Assembly on the action or information collected that concern the
matter from the 47 CoE member states.
