[01] Turnout in US and Canada voting low
Voter turnout in the polling station in New York City for Sunday's
elections for a new president of the Republic of Cyprus was low.
Out of a total of 159 registered voters in the US and Canada, only
56 people went to the polls 34.59% with an abstention of 104 voters
or 65.41%.
There were 54 valid ballots 96.43%, one vote was void and another was
blank. Nicos Anastasiades recedived 75.93% or 41 votes while Stavros
Malas 24.07% or 13 votes.
