Greek Foreign Minister Demetris Avramopoulos and the UN Secretary General Ban Ki moon will discuss the question of Cyprus on February 21st, when they meet. Avramopoulos will be at the UN headquarters next week, on his way to Canada.

The Cyprus question and differences between Greece and the FYROM will top the agenda of the talks. According to a diplomatic source, after the presidential elections in Cyprus, set for February 17, consultations will begin with a view to resuming the peace talks, which have been frozen since June.

The Greek FM will reiterate to the UN chief the issues which Athens and Nicosia consider the basis of the negotiations on a political settlement in Cyprus, that would reunite the country.
