[01] Interior Minister in Dublin for Informal EU informal JHA Council
Cypriot Minister of the Interior Eleni Mavrou is in Dublin for the
Informal EU Justice and Home Affairs Council, organised by the Irish
Presidency of the EU.
According to the agenda, the Ministers will discuss migration for growth,
the Greek National Action Plan on asylum and migration, the situation
in Syria with emphasis on refugees and asylum seekers, internal security
and growth, proposals for the EU Missing Persons Day, and the terrorist
attack on Israeli tourists in Bulgaria.
The agenda includes the European cross-border insolvency law, data
protection, the fundamental rights of EU citizens, and action to counter
hate crime and intolerance.
