[01] Cyprus FM expresses solidarity to Russia
Cyprus Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides expressed on Tuesday his
condolences to the families of all victims of the terrorist attacks in
Volgograd and conveyed the strong solidarity of the Cyprus government
to the people of Russia.
"In these moments of national grief for the Russian Federation, I express
my deepest and heartfelt condolences to the families of all the victims
of the terrorist attacks that took place in the city of Volgograd, while
conveying the strong solidarity of the Government and people of Cyprus
to the friendly people of Russia", he notes according to an official
press release.
He continues stressing that he "strongly and unequivocally" condemns the
aforementioned terrorist attacks resulting in the tragic death and injury
of a large number of innocent civilians. These heinous attacks, Kasoulides
says, "sadly show that the threat of terrorism has no boundaries, be it
national, geographic or cultural".
