[02] Cyprus can boost its real estate market, FIABCI World President says
Cyprus has a lot of positive things that can boost the real estate market
despite the current economic crisis, Flavio Gonzaga Nunes, World President
of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) has said.
Speaking in a press conference on the occasion of the conclusion of
his visit to Cyprus and asked about the potentials of the real estate
sector in Cyprus, Nunes said that in terms of tourism there are sale
opportunities, and this is not something new.
"But, I have seen something new that will bring more excitement to the
economy and that is the discovery of natural gas, which will be fully
exploited in some years", he said.
Nunes pointed out that the exploitation of the Cyprus' natural gas
will add to the economy more money and to the country more. "Why not,
if there is money entering the country, because of the gas production,
this money to feed the real estate industry", he wondered.
