[01] Greek Deputy Minister sees new momentum in Cyprus issue
Greek Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Evangelos
Venizelos said on Sunday that through the proposals put forward by Cyprus
President Nicos Anastasiades there is a new momentum in the Cyprus issue.
Venizelos discussed, inter alia, the Cyprus issue at a meeting with UN
Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
In statements he made after the meeting and referring to the Cyprus
issue, Venizelos said that "we have a new momentum now because we have
very specific proposals of the Republic of Cyprus' President Nicos
Anastasiades".
