[01] FM travels to Vilnius for Informal Meeting of the EU's Foreign
Affairs Council
Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides travels Friday to Vilnius, Lithuania,
to participate in the Informal Meeting of the EU's Foreign Affairs
Council (Gymnich), according to an official press release. The informal
meeting will be chaired by Catherine Ashton, the EU's High Representative
for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. On 6 September the Ministers
will discuss preparations for the European Council of December that
will focus on the future of security and defence in Europe, as well
as important issues related to the Eastern Partnership and Europe's
Southern neighbourhood.
