[01] Members of Cyprus House to attend 59th CPA conference
Members of the House of Representatives will travel to Johannesburg,
South Africa, to take part in the deliberations of the Commonwealth
Parliamentary Assembly conference to be held from 28 August- 5 September.
A press release from the House of Representatives said that member of the
House Dr. Pambos Papageorgiou will take part in his capacity of regional
representative of the CPA for the Virgin Islands and Mediterranean
District. He will also participate in the conference.
The executive committee will examine issues concerning the assembly's
management. Members of the House of Representatives Georgios Tasos and
Sophoclis Fittis will also attend the CPA conference. The main theme
of the conference is "Effective Solutions to Commonwealth Developmental
Challenges".
