[01] Selection Committee to approve Greece - Cyprus CBC projects of €8.5 million

The programme has a total budget of €60,082,025, 80% of which is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and 20% is funded by the governments of Greece and Cyprus.

It covers the Northern and Southern Aegean, Crete and Cyprus and its main aim is to promote the region, as a sustainable development centre within the wider Southeastern Mediterranean region whilst at the same time enhancing competitiveness.

[02] House President on official visit to Moscow

During their visit, they will hold a meeting with the Chairman of the State Duma, which will also be attended by the President of the Russia - Cyprus Friendship Group at the Duma, Adnan Muzykaev.

They will have separate meetings with the President of the Federal Parliament (Upper House), Mrs. Valentina Matvienko and the First Deputy Foreign Minister, Vladimir Titov.

[03] Women volleyball national team wins gold medal in Small States of Europe League

According to an announcement, issued by the Cyprus Volleyball Federation, the national team of Cyprus won the national team of Scotland with 3-1 set (25-22, 16-25, 25-22, 25-21) and secured the gold medal in the league. San Marino secured the silver medal and Scotland the bronze medal.

In January 2014, the women National team will play in a European Group for the third round of the World Championship.
