[01] Cyprus EU Presidency close to approval of EU 2013 budget and AB
6 2012
The efforts of the Cyprus EU Presidency for the adoption of the 2013 EU
budget and the additional budget 6 of 2012 are progressing well.
The Presidency presented Friday at the Committee of Permanent
Representatives (COREPER) the draft package proposal agreed on Thursday
between the Presidency's and the European Parliament's negotiating teams
on the additional budget for 2012 and the 2013 budget.
According to Presidency sources, COREPER confirmed that the Council is
ready to approve the draft agreement reached Thursday.
