[01] Cyprus and China discuss cooperation and export potential
Cyprus Agriculture Minister Sofoclis Aletraris and China Ambassador to
Cyprus Liu Xinsheng discussed here today the cooperation between the
two countries in the areas of agriculture and environment, as well as
export potential from Cyprus to China.
According to an official announcement, Aletraris said there was a positive
climate in bilateral cooperation concerning the areas of agriculture
and environment, attested by the two Memoranda of Understanding, signed
in 2007.
It is added that particular reference was made on the necessity to
conclude procedures to allow the export of citrus, pork and processed
pork products, dairy and fish products from Cyprus to China.
