[01] Cyprus Youth Council forum addresses youth unemployment
The problem of unemployment, which the young generation is confronted
with, was at the center of discussions at the annual General Assembly
of the Cyprus Youth Council, held Saturday morning in Nicosia.
Addressing the conference, Cyprus House President Yiannakis Omirou said
that the young generation and the organizations representing it have a
crucial role to play, by leading a permanent democratic dialogue with
their fellow peers amidst difficult financial conditions.
On his part, Cyprus Minister of Education and Culture Giorgos Demosthenous
noted that the forum "echoes the pulse of Cyprus youth", by representing
all organized youth organised groups in Cyprus.
