[01] State revenues from VAT for September rise by 9.33% y/y
Revenues from VAT increased in September 2012 by 9.33% year on year
following targeted efforts by the VAT service.
VAT revenues for September 2012 increased by €16.4 million reaching
€192.1 million compared to €175.7 in September 2011.
"Taking into account the financial crisis and the recession the 9.3%
rise in the VAT revenues is deemed as particularly important as it
assists the effort of the Finance Ministry to reach its fiscal targets,"
an official press release issued here today says.
