[01] President Christofias wraps up official visit to Austria
President of the Republic Demetris Christofias continues Tuesday his
meeting in Vienna, in the framework of his official visit to Austria,
that wraps up in the afternoon.
An official press release said that Christofias will address in the
morning the Austrian-Cypriot Economic Forum, organized by the Austrian
Federal Economic Chamber. President of Austria Heinz Fischer will
also address the Forum that will be attended by Cypriot and Austrian
businessmen. Commerce, Industry and Tourism Minister Neoklis Sylikiotis
and Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry Fidias Pilides will also
speak at the Forum.
Later Christofias will attend a working lunch hosted by Federal Chancellor
Werner Faymann. He will also visit Vienna Town Hall where he will have
a meeting with Mayor Michael Haupl.
Christofias will leave Vienna in the afternoon for Brussels, where he
will attend the informal European Council.
