[01] GREEK MINISTER OF NATIONAL DEFENCE - CYPRUS
Greek Minister of Defence Panos Beglitis will be arriving in Cyprus on
Monday to represent the Greek Prime Minister and the Government in
memorial events to mark the anniversary of the Turkish invasion.
During his stay on the island, Beglitis will be received by President
of the Republic Demetris Christofias and President of the House of
Representatives Yiannakis Omirou, and will hold talks with Minister of
Defence Demetris Eliades.
He will also meet with leaders of political parties and will visit
Archbishop of the Church of Cyprus Chrysostomos II.
Beglitis will furthermore visit a Greek army camp and a military
cemetery.
