[01] CYPRUS GREECE EDUCATION
Minister of Education and Culture Andreas Demetriou signed today in
Athens a memorandum of cooperation in the field of education with Greek
Minister of Education, Lifelong Learning and Religious Affairs Anna
Diamantopoulou, covering the period 2011-2016.
The memorandum provides for cooperation in all levels of education,
intercultural education, analytical programmes, books, training of
teachers, teaching of foreign languages, scholarships and the exchange
of students.
After the signing of the agreement, Demetriou said that having already
a good framework of cooperation, we are entering an era which will
allow us to develop it even further, with all the possibilities that
the digital age provides us with.
