[01] PARLIAMENT BILLS REJECTION
The House of Representatives rejected Thursday a government bill to
raise corporate tax.
The government legislation, which provided for an increase of the
corporate tax by one percentage point to 11% for two years, was voted
down with 26 votes against and 21 votes in favor.
Meanwhile, the House Plenary rejected a government bill providing for
the introduction of a 7 per mille tax for approximately 8.000 big real
estate owners.
The bill was rejected with 31 votes against and 16 in favor.
