    Euro area Finance Ministers unanimously have agreed to activate stability support to Greece via bilateral loans.

    In the context of a three year joint programme with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the financial package makes available 110 billion euro to help Greece meet its financing needs, with euro area Member States ready to contribute for their part 80 billion euro of which up to 30 billion in the first year.

    During the meeting of the Finance Ministers, Cyprus Minister Charilaos Stavrakis expressed the readiness of the Republic of Cyprus to immediately offer the financial aid to Greece. The Cabinet and the House of Representatives have approved a financial aid of 60,6 million Euro to Greece.
