Cypriot tennis champion Marcos Baghdatis will face Tuesday Italian
Paolo Lorenzi, in his first match in the Australian Open.
Baghdatis, who won Saturday the ATP Tournament Medibank International
in Sydney, after defeating French Richard Gasquet, improved his
position in the 2010 ATP Rankings and he now ranks 31st with 1,215
points.
In 2006 Marcos reached the Australian Open final where he was defeated
by the World`s No 1 tennis player, Roger Federer.
