[01] HOUSE MEMBERS PACE
A House of Representatives delegation is participating in the 3rd part
of the 2009 session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of
Europe, which began on Monday in Strasbourg.
The delegation comprises MPs Aristophanis Georgiou, Christos
Pourgourides, Antigoni Papadopoulou and Phidias Sarikas.
During the morning session it was decided by vote that the procedure to
elect the new Secretary General of the organisation, which was to have
taken place during the session, be postponed.
Pourgourides, who is a member of the PACE panel, spoke in favour of the
decision.
