[01] DEMONSTRATION - ISRAELI EMBASSY
A number of organizations and associations, including the Union of
Palestinians in Cyprus and youth organizations, staged a protest on
Saturday outside the Israeli embassy to express their solidarity with
the Palestinian people of Gaza.
The organizations issued a joint declaration by which they condemned
the Israeli attacks against Gaza Strip and called for the termination
of the blockage against the Palestinians of Gaza.
They also called on the Cypriot government to suspend diplomatic
relations with Israel as long as Israels policy to exterminate
Palestinians continues.
