[01] US OFFICIAL VISITS CYPRUS
US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian
Affairs Matthew Bryza visits Cyprus January 13-15, with a view to be
informed about developments in the Cyprus question.
A US embassy press release, issued here, said that during his visit,
Bryza will meet US Ambassador Frank C. Urbancic and his team, as well
as with UN officials and representatives of the two communities in
order to update himself on the current situation in Cyprus.
Bryza is scheduled to see Cyprus President Demetris Christofias
Wednesday morning.
This afternoon he will see Presidential Commissioner George Iacovou.
