[01] YOUNG OVERSEAS CYPRIOTS - RESOLUTION
Young Overseas Cypriots have expressed their support for efforts the
Cyprus government is making to find a negotiated settlement, through
the upcoming talks between President Demetris Christofias and Turkish
Cypriot leader Mehmet Ali Talat, beginning 3 September.
The 4th Conference of the World Organisation for Young Overseas
Cypriots (NEPOMAK), which convened here last week, also resolved to
work with the Cypriot Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the World Federation
of Overseas Cypriots (POMAK) and the International Coordination
Committee Justice for Cyprus (PSEKA) to promote a just settlement and
examine ways to enhance existing cooperation within a strategic
framework.
